Mt. Moriah 03:22
Atop the mountain with the sunrise It seems all the light has darkened my eyes I sit and gaze, I drag my brush I can't make the view any more lush I've always wanted to earn my seat among the valleys and fields beneath I stare at the scenes that you might admire there is no role of me thats required I watch the trees, I sift the sand They look like pictures I held in my hands but I can't grasp them I can't understand whats my place in this undeserved land? I've come down the mountain a different man. Have my eyes dimmed like Abraham's? Where is my joy? Haven't I won? I lost a ram In place of my son I watch the trees, I sift the sand They look like pictures I held in my hands but I can't grasp them I can't understand whats my place in this undeserved land?

Wild Teeth 03:43
No this skin and bone I've got don't help  As I'm running fast to save myself  They're on my tail, I can't escape  I repent as they're wild teeth take shape    Free me free me, be at haste  So only my body goes to waste  Release release me from this chase  No man could keep up this pace    As I swam across they pulled me back  Stirred the currents, confused my path  I staggered off, no trail in sight  The waning sun delayed my useless flight    Free me free me, be at haste  So only my body goes to waste  Release release me from this chase  No man could keep up this pace

Renaissance 02:42
Barefoot to keep the tradition  We roamed in the colder conditions  Down the beaten trail  To the salty shore  Ignoring the season's transition    We found the spot where we once lay  Restored our fortress of pale grain  Dug a moat around  The familiar ground  And challenged the ocean to invade    We find refuge in the fallen leaves  Escape our now fruitless trees  I want it how it used to be.  Raking faded summer dreams  Scattered by the winds screams  I'm living in my memories  A walk to the cove some time later searching across every acre for what I had those years ago that made life so easy to savor As the waves crashed I retreated knowing that I'd been defeated life could not compare to the memories my mind had so carefully weeded We find refuge in the fallen leaves  Escape our now fruitless trees  I want it how it used to be.  Raking faded summer dreams  Scattered by the winds screams  I'm living in my memories

I've searched for any thread of love to follow back to the source But every time I trace the string it leads to the ocean shore We can try but it seems I am cursed all your tears will just increase my thirst Skip this heart of stone out to sea Let my glassy eyes wash up frosted green Skip this heart of stone out to sea Let my jagged soul wash up smooth and clean I've waited for the wounds to show to prove I wasn't alone But every time you show a scar I'm untouched to the bone You can give me all that I deserve maybe this time I will feel your hurt Skip this heart of stone out to sea Let my glassy eyes wash up frosted green Skip this heart of stone out to sea Let my jagged soul wash up smooth and clean

We had tried to live among people of a different tongue We were proud and we were young thought we knew just what would come I grew weary and withdrawn packed my bags and left at dawn Hid in every cave I knew ran before the grass could dew You must have forgot your place when the light shined on your face now your reasons have all changed so that you can stay this way Don't you see that you've become just like those who you fled from? I've forgotten why we ran away from the northern land

The Tide 03:58
My early years were lost in thought time stole the life that I once sought. I ventured so far in my head without taking a single step. I used to sleep the night away and keep dreaming throughout the day. Now I lay awake in this bed my clothes are packed my dreams are dead. My mind has done its wandering its time to let my feet go My heart has stored its dreams up its time to let the blood flow No more drifting towards the sand The tide has washed me in to land.
